Directions to Brown

LOCATION
The Barus & Holley building is located at the corner of George Street and Hope Street (see map). Parking is available at the Barus & Holley lot, which is accessable from George Street and indicated with a blue P on the map.

BY CAR
From the east: Follow I-195 West, exit at South Main Street (exit 2), and proceed to the traffic light at College Street (large courthouse at corner), where you will turn right. When College Street ends at Prospect Street, you will be facing the Brown campus. Turn right on Prospect, then left on George, and continue until you see the lot on your left.
From the west, north and south: Follow I-95 to I-195 East, exit at Downtown Providence (exit 1), and follow exit ramp along river. At second light (College Street), turn right. Proceed through the next light (South Main Street) and up hill as above.
From the northwest: Route 146 leads to I-95 and then to I-195. Then follow above North-South directions.

BY TRAIN
Providence is served by Amtrak. The train station is a short cab ride to the University.

BY BUS
Providence is served by Greyhound and Bonanza bus lines. Their Providence terminals are a short cab ride to the University.

BY PLANE
T.F. Green International Airport (named for Theodore Francis Green, class of 1887) is served by most national and regional airlines. The airport, which is in the city of Warwick, is approximately 10 miles from the University. A variety of ground transportation is available from the terminal to Providence.
